Golden Basket Restaurant in Appleton

My wife and I stopped in on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised. Great food and better prices with friendly staff and fast service.

The food was average at best. One of the servers was ridiculously rude. The prices were very high for what you actually got. Not worth it at all.

Good value. Nice service from the waiter. Very old school, laid back restaurant. For example, the staff eat and drink while they wait on you. Food was tasty. The atmosphere is particular as we received many stares and glances from others. Also, no one likes to stare at junk and bug spray as they eat.

Decent food. Pretty good service. I did feel like our server, Michelle, could have relaxed a bit. The menu is 8 pages long and I wasn't familiar with it, so it took me a bit to decide what to order. She stood just off to the side watching us (after being told we needed a little time) and asked every 30 seconds of we were ready. It felt more pushy than helpful. All in all, I'd go back, but I'd rather try a different server next time.

Awesome food and service, Allison is the best she always gets the orders perfect and my drink is never empty. We come here multiple times a week and it’s always great.

This is the go-to breakfast place for my extended family of 10 when we come to visit. The food takes a while to arrive at our table, but their menu and the staff accommodate food allergies, picky teenagers, and special requests or adjustments to the food as listed in the menu. The staff is normally very friendly, and they're always willing to take a reservation ahead of time so we can walk in and go right to our table. It's not gourmet food by any stretch, but we always leave very full and satisfied and the prices are quite reasonable. Wish they would post their extensive menu online--next time we go, I'll try to remember to take photos of it!

Good greasy spoon. Not fabulous but not bad. Service is good. Open on Thanksgiving. Gyros are very delicious!

Scrambled eggs were mostly raw. Waited a long timeto, just to get syrup. Survice wasnt good. Had bad stomach the next day
